Draft notice: these terms are under legal review and may change. They cover the website and waitlist only; separate terms for the app, events and tickets will be published before the first event. Last updated 19 October 2026.
Website terms of use
1. Who we are
This website, swipemeets.com, is operated by SwipeMeets ("we", "us") from the United Kingdom. Full operator details (the company name, company number and registered address) will be published on this page. Contact: hello@swipemeets.com.
2. What the site is for
The site describes the SwipeMeets concept, lets you join a waitlist and lets venues make enquiries. SwipeMeets is pre-launch. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell tickets or a promise that events will run on a particular date, in a particular city or at all. Event details, prices, age ranges and timings shown on the site are examples.
3. Using the site
- You must be 18 or over to join the waitlist.
- Give us accurate details. Don't sign up on someone else's behalf without their permission.
- Don't attempt to interfere with the site, submit automated or bulk entries, or probe it for weaknesses.
- You may link to our home page in a fair and legal way.
4. Waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation on either side. We will email you about launch news and events in your area. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a place at any event; places will be subject to the event terms published at the time.
5. Content and intellectual property
The SwipeMeets name, logo, text, design and illustrations on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use. Don't copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
6. Accuracy and availability
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, because the site is free to use and informational, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or reliance on its content, to the extent the law allows.
8. Privacy
How we use your personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.
