Dating apps turned meeting people into a chore: endless swiping, chats that go nowhere, dates that never happen. Speed dating fixed the "never happen" part but left you walking in blind. SwipeMeets puts the two together.

See who's going and pick
Browse the verified guest list before you book. Tap the people you'd like to spend time with. Nobody sees your picks unless they picked you too.

Match and say hello first
If you both pick each other, it's a match and chat opens inside the app. Break the ice before the night, so the first hello isn't the first hello.

Meet on the night
Your matches get their time with you first. Then the night fills with short chats with everyone else. Afterwards, pick anyone you liked and keep talking.

Photo and ID verification before anyone appears on a guest list. What you see is who turns up.
Chat stays in the app
Messaging opens only after a mutual pick. No phone numbers or social handles are shared unless you both choose to.
Block and report, everywhere
Every profile and every chat has block and report. Reports go to a human, and repeat problems mean a permanent ban.

Questions people ask
What is SwipeMeets?
Speed dating with a twist. For each event you can see the verified guest list in advance, pick the people you'd like to meet, and if they pick you too you're matched and can chat in the app before the night. On the night, your matches get their time with you first, then the rest of the evening fills with short chats with everyone else.
Is it an app or an event?
Both. The app is where you see the guest list, make your picks and chat with matches. The event is where you actually meet, in person, at a public venue. The app exists to make the night better, not to replace it.
What does it cost?
You buy a ticket per event. There is no subscription. Ticket prices will be shown on each event before you book.
How big are the events?
Small on purpose: around 20 to 30 people per event, with a balanced mix of places, so everyone gets time with everyone.
How do you keep it safe?
Every attendee is verified before they can be shown on a guest list. Messaging only opens after a mutual pick and stays inside the app; nobody sees your phone number or socials unless you choose to share them. Every profile has block and report, and events are held in public venues with a host present. SwipeMeets is for people aged 18 or over.
Where will the first events be?
We're launching in cities right across the UK soon, from Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle to London, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow and Belfast. Tell us your nearest city when you join the waiting list and we'll message you when events open near you.
What happens if I don't get any matches before the night?
You still meet everyone. Pre-event matches just go first. The rest of the night is short chats with every other guest, and you can pick anyone you liked afterwards.
What do you do with my data?
To join the waiting list we ask for your first name, email, mobile number, age, nearest city, sex and orientation, so we can invite you to small, balanced events near you. Sex and orientation are stored encrypted, orientation is only kept with your explicit consent, and none of it is shown to other guests or sold. You can opt out of messages, update your details or ask us to delete them at any time. See the privacy notice for the full details.
